A Day in the Life – 100 Hour Yoga TTC
Wake up with the soft sounds of nature at 5:00 AM, beginning your day with a cup of herbal tea to gently awaken your senses. At 5:30 AM, step into the shala for an invigorating Ashtanga yoga session, where you’ll move through dynamic postures with mindful breathwork, building strength and flexibility as the sun rises.
By 7:15 AM, you transition into pranayama practice, learning traditional breathing techniques that energize the body and calm the mind.
After a nourishing sattvic breakfast at 8:15 AM, your mind is ready to absorb deeper teachings. At 9:45 AM, gather for yoga philosophy class to explore yogic texts, lifestyle principles, and spiritual insights. This is followed by mantra chanting at 11:00 AM, filling the space with vibrational energy that uplifts your spirit.
Midday, at 12:15 PM, you focus on adjustment and alignment training, where you refine your asanas under the guidance of experienced teachers — building confidence and understanding of each posture’s proper technique.
A wholesome lunch at 1:15 PM offers a pause to recharge. Afternoons are slightly slower — a short tea break at 4:00 PM is followed by a grounding Hatha yoga practice from 4:15 PM to 5:45 PM, deepening flexibility and inner awareness.
Evenings are reserved for stillness and introspection. From 6:00 PM, you join meditation or Yoga Nidra sessions, cultivating a peaceful state of mind before enjoying a warm dinner at 7:00 PM.
Post-dinner, students engage in self-study — journaling, reading recommended yoga texts, or simply reflecting on the day — until lights out at 10:00 PM, preparing for another day of transformation.
Wednesdays and Sundays include special activities such as shat kriya (yogic cleansing), excursions to sacred sites, and Ayurveda practical sessions, offering variety and a taste of Rishikesh’s spiritual culture.
