Step into a week of rejuvenation and transformation at the 7 Days Breath & Pranayama Retreat held at Yoga Vidya Mandiram in Rishikesh, India. Designed especially for beginners and those wishing to deepen their breathing practices, this retreat artfully integrates pranayama, yoga asana, meditation, and relaxation techniques into a balanced and immersive schedule.
Over six full days (with one rest–excursion day), you will be guided through the ancient art of breathwork, cleansing practices (satkarma), and pranayama theory & practice. Complementing these are sessions in Hatha and Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga, mantra chanting, yoga nidra, and silent self-study periods to internalize the teachings. On the rest day, you’ll explore a sacred local site—such as Vashishtha Cave or Kunjapuri Temple—under the guidance of the school (trip included in the fee).
You’ll reside in comfortable shared or private rooms (non-AC by default) and enjoy three wholesome vegetarian meals daily, plus afternoon masala chai. All yoga props, printed course materials, Wi-Fi, and certification upon completion are provided. While many essentials are included, extras like airport transfers, laundry, AC/heating, insurance, and additional nights are available at supplementary cost.
By the end of the week, not only will you gain a deeper, sustainable breathing practice, but also a refreshed sense of balance, inner calm, and tools to carry forward into your daily life.
