The curriculum is designed to build a strong foundation in traditional yoga studies. Students will learn: Hatha Yoga – foundational postures, alignment & practice Vinyasa Flow – sequencing, transitions, breath–movement coordination Asanas Practice – posture mastery, modifications & corrections Pranayama – breathing techniques for energy management Meditation Techniques – mindfulness, concentration & inner awareness Kriyas – basic cleansing techniques Yoga Anatomy & Physiology – understanding muscles, joints & body mechanics Bandhas & Mudras – energetic locks and gestures Yoga Philosophy – Yoga Sutras, principles of yogic lifestyle Teaching Skills – introduction to class structure, voice modulation & safety This curriculum prepares beginners to understand the core of yoga while opening the foundation for advanced learning.
No strict prerequisites; this course is open to beginners and intermediate students. Basic prior yoga practice is helpful but not mandatory. Students should be in reasonably good physical and mental health.
To successfully graduate, students must: Maintain at least 90% attendance in all classes Actively participate in all practices and workshops Complete assigned practicum sessions, including posture practice Demonstrate understanding of basic yoga concepts taught during training A final assessment may include practical demonstrations and teacher evaluations.
After course completion, students receive: Ongoing support from Sanskriti Yogshala teachers via email or WhatsApp Access to the school’s alumni community Guidance for pursuing the remaining 100 hours to complete RYT-200 Opportunity for continued mentorship and future advanced TTC programs Support for building personal yoga practice and teaching skills
